About Safa

Safa is designed to make Quran reading and everyday Islamic practice easier to access in one calm, focused application.

Why Safa exists

Most of us already know what we would like our day to look like: a little Quran, the prayers on time, some dhikr, something learned. What usually gets in the way is friction — one app for reading, another for prayer times, a bookmark lost somewhere else.

Safa was built to remove that friction. Quran reading with translations and tafsir, recitation audio, duas and azkar, hadith and stories, Qibla, wudu guidance, and a tasbih all live in the same quiet place, so returning to them takes one step instead of five.

How we think about the design

The app is deliberately calm. Nothing competes for attention, nothing pushes you toward a streak or a score you did not ask for. The goal is steadiness, not intensity.

How we think about your data

Safa is local-first. Quran bookmarks and Quran reading progress currently stay on your device, and creating an account for supported cloud synchronization is optional. You can read more in the Privacy Policy.

What Safa is not

Safa is a companion for reading and practice. It is not a religious authority, it does not issue rulings, and it is not a replacement for learning from qualified scholars. Where content comes from third-party sources, we aim to say so on the Licenses page.
